Well, stage two of Best Friends is complete. The only thing left is color. The entire "three stage" process I go through can take quite a bit of time. I've been speaking to other artists to try to see where I can cut some time down. Perhaps I'm doing things the long way.

I will be looking into how my drawings are scanned in. Perhaps the DPI could be higher (maybe they're coming in very low). That might be causing the extreme pixelation that I take days to fix.

I tend to work on pieces a little bit at a time. From start to finish, this drawing took weeks. In actual time spent on it? Maybe 24 hours? I have no clue. Like I said, I do it in parts. I'm going to try working on pieces more often and less randomly. If I start a piece, I'd like to have it done within a day or two (ideal goal). We'll see.

I love the new look. It's so seamless from blog to blogroll (hint**the blogroll is actually a separate blog entirely**). I love it! The excitement has worn down but it's still really great...I'm so happy with it for once. Thanks to the creative people that formed the blog template and put it online to be shared. Woot! (Credit to them at the bottom of the blog to remain forever).
